Kelvin Redefinition and What It Means for You
Important changes are coming to the science of measurement on May 20 which is World Metrology Day. The International System of Units (SI) will be officially revised with several historical changes. Two of the SI units - kilogram and kelvin - will be redefined so they will be based on constants of nature like the meter (speed of light) and the second (atom oscillations). Attend this special webinar as we recognize this historic event and share information of how the changes will impact you.
We’ll provide an overview of all the changes, details of the kelvin redefinition, clarify the impact it will have on temperature measurement, and answer your questions. We’ll also update you on the future of temperature measurement and the new and exciting technologies being discussed and developed. Don’t throw away your triple-point of water cells!
